The Barrington Levy Collection

Known as the mellow canary, Barrington Levy has had most success in sub-genres ragga and dancehall, and he is best known for the song “Here I Come” (” I’m Broad, I’m Broad, I’m broader Than Broadway “), which was released in 1985, the year when ragga developed in Jamaica. Both the song and the rhythm have been reused many times by other artists and media including the computer game Grand Theft Auto (San Andreas).

eighties were good without a doubt, but seventies and nineties were the very best cos of the emergence of electro and da golden age of rap music which was at that time very creative, i agree with u nowadayz music sucks in almost every genre, except maybe the minimal house genre

If you listen to reggae, you have heard this song. It’s a classic, and if you are listening to a radio station that’s playing classic reggae, you will hear this song. If you create a Pandora reggae station for an artist like Bob Marley, Jimmy Cliff, Beenie Man, this song will play at some point. I guess you mean, “Anyone who doesn’t like/listen to reggae music”? Everyone I know, knows this song (I’m American) but very few of them have heard of GTA.
